Dr. Christopher Beene’s journey in medicine started at a young age. The oldest of 10 children, he has known he wanted to be a doctor since the age of six and never wavered from that dream. He was born in McAlester Oklahoma, attending public school there until moving to Stigler, OK where he graduated from high school.
After high school, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Central University. Afterward, he applied and was accepted into the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. His experiences in medical school eventually led him to attend the family medicine residency training program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler Texas. He is a board-certified family medicine physician who has practiced for over 10 years.
Dr. Beene is a devoted family man. He has been married to his wife of 12 years, Courtney, who is a local business owner. They are kept busy by their two young sons Hunter and Colton along with their two dogs Hershey and Allie. They enjoy spending quality time together hunting, fishing, hiking, and hanging out at the lake. He attends the King’s House Church.
